Our standard rear fold units are used when there is sufficient room behind the face of the backboard to allow the unit to fold backwards. They have the preferred rear bracing. It is always preferable to have a rear brace, as it adds strength and rigidity to the frame and is never in the flight path of the ball. This design has a standard ceiling footprint.
